How to Play Mini-Baccarat

Baccarat is an easy game to enjoy in that every facet of the game is governed via a firm set of rules. Everything that happens during a game is based on a standard set of game rules, with no choices made by the player or dealer.

The aim of the casino game is to get as close to nine with your hand total then the bankers hand does..
A hand can’t bust like in Blackjack. The game is played modulo 10, if the hand total exceeds 10 you subtract ten from the count so the total is between 0 and 9.

The player first chooses where to wager, then after bets are completed everyone is given out 2 cards to start.

If either hand has a hand total of eight or nine it is referred to as a “Natural”, the hand wins and the hand is finished. When each hand total an 8 or 9, it is a tie.

If neither hand gets a ‘natural’ following the initial deal, what happens after that relies upon on their hand totals.

The players hand goes first.

The Players Hand Is: The Dealers Hand Is:
0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 Takes a third card
6 or 7 Stay

After the players turn, the bankers hand receives an addional card (or not) based on the players draw:

The Bankers Hand Is:
0, 1 or 2 Any hand Takes a card
3 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 Draws a card
8 Stays
9 Stays
4 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 Draws a card
0, 1, 8 or 9 No further cards
5 5, 6 or 7 Draw a card
0, 1, 2, 3, 8 or 9 Stay
4 Draw a card
6 6 or 7 Draw a card
0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 8 or 9 Stays
7 Anything Stay

When the cards have all been dealt, the two hands are compared and the one with the value closer to 9 wins the round.
